Basement Waterproofing in Andover NJ
Challenge
The homeowner called us in because they were having an issue with minor flooding in their basement and insects. Upon coming out we saw what the problem was, the house was situated on a rather flat area and incorrect grading had not been directing water away from the foundation. Three of the windows were also below grade.
Solution
We installed DrainTile with CleanSpace and a TripleSafe to control the hydrostatic pressure that was occurring. We also installed block work in 3 of the 4 windows to elevate the existing grade. The forth window was a little above grade so we installed glass block to allow light to enter without the elements (humidity, insects).
To complete this project we installed our SaniDry Sedona and drained it into the system.
